Titanic Returns on Valentine's Day, 14 February, to Legend Cinema

PHNOM PENH: The classic romance film, 'Titanic', is returning to theaters and will be screened at all Legend Cinemas once again on Valentine's Day, 14 February 2023, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the film.

Titanic is an epic romance and disaster film written, directed, produced and co-edited by James Cameron. Including both historical and fictional aspects, the film is based on the real-life sinking of the RMS Titanic and stars Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio in the leading roles. The two leads play members of different social classes who fall in love on the ship during its final cruise.

Cameron's inspiration for the film came from his fascination with the sinking of the real ship in 1912. It was the most expensive movie made at the time of its release, with a production budget of US $200 million. Filming took place from July 1996 to March 1997.

The film was originally released on 19 December 1997 and was a major critical and commercial success.

Re-releasing in theatres this valentines day, Titanic has been remastered in 4K resolution and digital 3D.

Any plans yet with your loved ones tomorrow?
